About

This blog will feature mostly writing; musings, rants, maybe some photography that I feel complements the topic of the day. I profess no particular expertise or wisdom other than that acquired during my rather normal American life, if there is such a thing.  I like to tell my new friends that I’m southern, with the benefits of a “nawthen” education. I am not yet old, even if the server gave me a seniors’ discount at lunch the other day, but I recognize that I’m definitely no longer young either. Well, physically anyway.  I still think I can do everything I did at 20.

I’ve spent the majority of my career in the rural south, working in health care. I hold degrees in Respiratory Therapy (Medical College of Georgia), Information Technology (Western Governors University) and a graduate degree in Health Services Administration (University of St Francis).
